I was going to post news of my appearance at the Baltimore Comic Con today–but yesterday while leaving the post office I took a bad tumble and broke my clavicle. My first broken bone. I was scheduled to fly out early Sunday to stay with Walter Simonson and Louise Simonson a few days before driving down to Baltimore, but now I can’t move much for a few weeks, let alone travel. I’m sorry about missing the con, but most upset about not seeing so many old friends after many years. I hope I can make it in 2016.

So sorry to hear about your fall! Hope you get better soon!
Wishing you a speedy and complete recovery, Hoping to meet you in the future. Try to take it easy. One of your fans!
So sorry Bret…….. Get well soon!!!! Hang in there….They can’t keep a good man down!!! I’ll see you at Phoenix Con!!
You have my sympathies for what they’re worth Bret, I had no idea. That’s what I get for just going straight to the shop and nowhere else. All I can tell you is what I’m sure you already know: Positive outlook + rest + good, deep sleep + good nutrition = speedy and full recovery. All the best, Bret, with the right treatment/rehabilitation, this will all just be a bad, distant memory soon enough. Take (Good) care.
